Obverse description Central field features the double-headed eagle emblem of the Bank of Russia, displayed with wings spread and holding orb and sceptre, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. The denomination ДВАДЦАТЬ ПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ (Twenty-Five Roubles) arcs along the upper periphery in bold Cyrillic lettering, separated from the central device by a dotted border. The legend БАНК РОССИИ (Bank of Russia) appears in the lower field below the eagle, flanked on the left by the fineness mark Ag 925 and on the right by the weight indicator 155.5, with the date 2012 Г. inscribed along the lower rim. The mint engraver's initials appear in small relief to the lower right of the eagle. The overall design is executed in the standard Bank of Russia commemorative obverse style with crisp frosted devices on a deeply mirrored background.

Reverse description The reverse presents a dynamic, densely composed battle scene commemorating the Russian People's Volunteer Corps of 1612, depicting armoured warriors armed with spears, axes, halberds, and a mace surging forward in a stylised medieval tableau. A central helmeted warrior in chainmail and lamellar armour is prominently rendered in high relief, bearing a round shield, with powder flasks and other military accoutrements visible in the lower field. The composition is framed on either side by ornate foliate and scroll borders in a traditional Russian decorative style, lending the scene an iconic, manuscript-illumination quality. The date 1612 is incised in the right field, and the two-line Cyrillic inscription НАРОДНОЕ ОПОЛЧЕНИЕ (People's Volunteer Corps) appears in stylised lettering in the lower right portion of the field. The entire design is executed in proof finish with frosted relief figures set against a deeply mirrored background.
