| Obverse description | The obverse features the State Emblem of the Russian Federation — a double-headed eagle displayed, crowned with three imperial crowns, holding a sceptre in the right talon and an orb in the left, with the shield of St. George and the Dragon at centre breast — rendered in high relief against a deeply mirrored proof field. The legend РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ arcs along the upper periphery in Cyrillic, flanked by two decorative square ornaments on either side of the eagle. Below the emblem, the issuing authority, denomination, and date appear in three lines: БАНК РОССИИ / 25 РУБЛЕЙ / 2019 г. The fineness designation Ag 925 is inscribed to the lower left of the eagle, and the weight indicator 155,5 together with the Saint Petersburg Mint mark (СПМД) appears to the lower right. |
