| Obverse description | At the center of the deeply mirrored proof field stands the emblem of the Russian Federation: a double-headed eagle with wings displayed, rendered in high relief against a polished background. The denomination ДВАДЦАТЬ ПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ (TWENTY FIVE ROUBLES) curves along the upper periphery in bold Cyrillic lettering, while БАНК РОССИИ (BANK OF RUSSIA) is inscribed in a straight legend beneath the eagle. The date 2008 Г. appears prominently in the lower field, flanked by the fineness designation АG 925 to the left and the weight indication 155,5 with the Moscow Mint monogram (ММД) to the right.
