In the lower field, a group of mountain goats (markhor or ibex) is shown grazing among bare rocky terrain, rendered in lower relief against the polished field. The Cyrillic legend СОХРАНИМ arches across the upper border, with НАШ МИР inscribed along the lower arc, together reading 'Protect Our World.' The overall composition is executed in an artistic engraving style characteristic of Russian commemorative coinage of the period. |
