| Obverse description | The obverse features the Russian State emblem — a double-headed eagle with wings displayed, set against a mirror-polished field within a beaded inner circle. The denomination '25' appears to the left and the date '1997 г.' to the right of the eagle along the inner border, while the legend 'БАНК РОССИИ' curves along the lower arc.
