The figures are rendered in a richly detailed, painterly style characteristic of Russian commemorative coinage of this period. Along the lower rim, a curved inscription in Cyrillic reads «РАЙМОНДА» (RAYMONDA), identifying the subject. The field surrounding the central composition is polished to a mirror finish, contrasting with the frosted relief of the figural group. |
