Aanvullende informatie

This piece belongs to a long-running Bank of Russia series honoring historical regalia held in the Kremlin Armoury — one of the few state collections that remained largely intact through the Soviet period, when most imperial property was either melted, sold abroad through Antikvariat, or simply lost. The Armoury's survival was partly bureaucratic accident: Lenin's government designated it a state museum in 1919 before systematic dispersal could be organized.

The 169-gram format places it among the heavier issues in the series, a specification driven by the physical scale of the regalia being commemorated rather than any minting convention.
