The Fixiki are a Russian animated franchise launched in 2010, built around small humanoid creatures who live inside machines and repair them from within — a concept developed by the children's studio Aeroplane. The series became one of the more durable properties in post-Soviet Russian children's media, spawning theatrical films and extensive merchandise. This 25-rouble copper-nickel piece continues the Bank of Russia's long-running animated characters program, which has issued similar collector circulation coins for franchises including Nu, pogodi! and Cheburashka.
