| Obverse description | The state emblem of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic occupies the central field, depicting a Soviet-style coat of arms featuring a hammer and sickle surmounted by a five-pointed star, flanked by sheaves of wheat and ears of corn, with bunches of grapes at the base and ribbons inscribed PMR in Cyrillic. The circular legend ПРИДНЕСТРОВСКИЙ РЕСПУБЛИКАНСКИЙ БАНК (Transnistrian Republican Bank) runs along the upper periphery. The denomination 25 РУБЛЕЙ appears below the emblem, and the date 2025, flanked by two raised dots, is positioned near the lower rim. |

| Reverse description | A stylised front-facing view of the Dubossary hydroelectric power station dominates the central field, rendered in low relief, depicting the dam structure with its arched turbine housings and a hydraulic turbine to the left. To the right stands a high-voltage electricity pylon with lightning-bolt conductors. The inscription ДУБОССАРСКАЯ ГЭС (Dubossary Hydroelectric Power Station) arcs across the upper field in two lines, with ГЭС rendered prominently in larger characters. The commemorative legend 70 ЛЕТ (70 years) appears in the lower field, marking the seventieth anniversary of the station. |

| Additional information |
Dubossary sits on the Dniester River in a strip of territory that declared independence from Moldova in 1990 but remains unrecognized by any UN member state. The hydroelectric station there predates the conflict entirely — it was a Soviet-era installation, completed in 1954, that now operates within an economy running on its own currency accepted nowhere outside Transnistria's borders. Pridnestrovian commemoratives like this one are issued by a central bank of a country that does not officially exist, which creates a peculiar documentary record: legal tender for roughly 350,000 people, foreign curiosity for everyone else.
