| 备注 |
The Black Sea Peasant Militia was one of dozens of armed anti-Bolshevik formations operating in the Caucasus and Black Sea coastal regions during the Civil War's later phases. Their scrip issues were purely functional — produced to pay fighters and procure supplies when no recognized currency was available or trusted. Notes of this type rarely traveled far from the issuing unit.
The official stamp is the only authentication mechanism, which tells you something about the conditions under which this was printed. Forgery was presumably less of a concern than simply keeping the organization solvent for another week.
