| Obverse description | Plain typeset note on white paper, entirely in Cyrillic script. The heading reads ВРЕМЕННИЙ РАЗМѢННИЙ ЗНАКЪ ЧЕРНОМОРСКАГО КРЕСТЬЯНСКАГО ОПОЛЧЕНІЯ, with the denomination ДВАДЦАТЬ ПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ in large bold letterpress type and the numeral /25 рублей./ centred below. The body text, set in smaller type, cites the decree of the Main Field Headquarters authorising the note to circulate at par with Don, Volunteer Army, and Georgian currency signs until 1 April 1920, after which it was to be exchanged by the Sochi District Treasury. A circular Полевой Штаб (Field Headquarters) stamp is applied at lower left, with manuscript signatures of the Chairman and Secretary of the Main Staff and a serial number beneath. |
