Dominating the upper portion is the grand neoclassical palace with its broad front staircase, terrace balustrade, and ornamental sculptures and vases. At centre, a sculptural composition anchors the composition, while in the foreground the domed burial-vault colonnade chapel appears to the left and a reclining lion statue to the right. The encircling rim legend reads УСАДЬБА «АРХАНГЕЛЬСКОЕ» (The Country Estate Arkhangelskoye) at the top, with the date range XVIII–XIX вв. (18th–19th centuries) inscribed along the lower rim. |
