Obverse description Central field dominated by the elaborate calligraphic tughra of Sultan Abdulaziz, rendered in fine relief with characteristic sweeping vertical strokes and interlaced loops. A decorative floral sprig motif, resembling a budding rose branch, appears to the upper right of the tughra. The denomination '25 Qirsh' in Eastern Arabic numerals (٢٥ ش) is inscribed in the lower field beneath the tughra. The coin is bordered by a uniform milled or beaded inner rim. The overall design reflects the refined Ottoman calligraphic tradition applied to Egyptian coinage of the period.
