A large lion crouches prominently in the foreground to Britannia's left, its mane and musculature rendered with great sculptural precision. Radiating sunburst lines emanate from behind the central group, filling the upper field and imparting a dynamic, triumphant character to the composition. The legend 'BRITANNIA' arcs across the upper periphery in bold raised letters, flanked by the inscription '1/4 OZ 999.5 PLATINUM' in the inner field, with the date '2021' displayed in the lower exergue and the engraver's initials 'PJL' discretely placed at lower right. |
