The dragon is set against a low-relief landscape ground of stylised rocks, foliage, and bamboo, evoking traditional East Asian artistic conventions. The legend YEAR OF THE DRAGON arcs across the upper field, with the date 2024 to the right, separated by a pellet. The Chinese character 龍 (dragon) appears prominently in the lower centre of the field in a recessed, incuse style for contrast.
