Reverse description The reverse, designed by Glyn Davies, presents the four heraldic beasts of the United Kingdom arranged dynamically across a quartered field divided by diagonal lines meeting at a central royal crown. In the upper-left quarter, the Welsh Red Dragon rears with wings spread; in the upper-right, the English Lion passant guardant leaps with raised paw; in the lower-left, the Scottish Unicorn rears with chained neck; and in the lower-right, the Irish Harp-playing figure or stag is depicted in vigorous relief. The engraver's initials GKC appear adjacent to the central crown motif. A repeated circular legend around the periphery reads 1/4 OZ FINE GOLD 999.9 2024, inscribed multiple times around the border of the finely textured field.
