| Reverse description | The reverse, designed by Matt Dent, depicts a central vignette of James Bond piloting the iconic Little Nellie autogyro, as featured in the 1967 film You Only Live Twice. The aircraft is rendered in precise relief against a textured ground field bearing the repeated names of classic Bond films in incuse lettering, including Dr. No, From Russia with Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, and On Her Majesty's Secret Service. The entire composition is framed by a bold gun-barrel motif rendered in the style of the famous James Bond film opening sequence, its radiating lines emanating from the upper field. The bold numerals '007' appear prominently in the lower portion of the field in raised relief. |
