Aanvullende informatie

The 15th Hijri Century commemorative series was issued to mark the transition into the Islamic calendar's 1400s — 1979 corresponding to the opening of that centennial. Sudan produced essays in multiple metals as the Bank evaluated both design approval and material options before settling on final production specifications. Copper essais of this denomination are pattern-level pieces, struck outside normal circulation runs and distributed primarily to banking officials and international numismatic bureaus rather than entering any commercial channel.
