The denomination '25' appears in all four corners in bold script against blue panels, with the large red gothic title 'Notgeld der Stadt' across the top and 'Bad Oeynhausen' in matching script along the bottom. A manuscript facsimile signature appears to the right of the issuer inscription 'Städtische Sparkasse Bad Oeynhausen', and a horizontal red and gold striped underprint frames the composition throughout.
