Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse is enclosed within the same geometric Art Deco border as the obverse, in matching green and black tones. The central field is occupied by a finely detailed line-engraving vignette of Schloss Mühlentahl set within a landscaped park, with a reflective pond in the foreground and mature trees framing the neo-Gothic manor house on either side. A two-line title inscription in bold Gothic type occupies the upper register, while the issuer's designation is repeated in a single-line panel at the foot.

Opmerkingen

St. Magnus is a small community on the northern bank of the Weser, administratively part of what is now Bremen but historically distinct enough to issue its own Notgeld during the inflationary spiral of the early 1920s. This 25 Pfennig note belongs to the first phase of German municipal emergency currency, before hyperinflation rendered small-denomination paper essentially worthless within months of printing.

Konrad Hanf was a Hamburg commercial printer rather than a specialist banknote firm — typical of Notgeld production, where local and regional printers absorbed enormous volume as thousands of municipalities scrambled to address coin shortages.
