Reverse description The reverse is organised into three vertical panels on a light blue-bordered ground. The left panel carries "25 Pfennig" and "Freienohl im Sauerland" in green Fraktur lettering with small decorative flourishes. The central panel presents a pen-and-ink landscape vignette in dark ink showing a winding river path through a forested valley with a solitary figure in the foreground. The right panel contains a stanza of Westphalian dialect verse attributed to "F.W. Grimme" in black Fraktur script.
