Obverse description Notgeld issue in brown and cream tones with Gothic script reading "Notgeld Jeßnitz" across the top. A central oval cartouche bears the large numeral "25" in dark red, flanked by a circular town arms vignette (twin towers) at left and the year "1921" at right within a roundel. A serial number panel appears at foot, with validity and payment office inscriptions below.

Reverse description Colour vignette of Field Marshal Blücher on a white horse, sword raised, departing Jeßnitz before the Battle of Leipzig (1813); a portrait bust in uniform appears at upper right.
