Obverse description The obverse is printed in rose and dark brown tones within a double-ruled rectangular border. A large vignette to the upper left illustrates an industrial or workshop scene with laborers at work, rendered in a woodcut-style graphic. To the right of the vignette, a circular municipal seal is visible. The denomination '25' appears in large numerals at centre, below which the inscription 'NOTGELDSCHEIN DER STADT FROHSE' is set in bold letterpress type; the vertical side panels carry the validity notice 'DIE GÜLTIGKEIT ERLISCHT' and 'MIT DEM 15. OKTOBER 1921'.

Reverse description The reverse is printed in blue, orange, and ochre tones within an ornate border with orange corner squares each bearing the numeral '25'. The central vignette presents a landscape scene with three figures standing on open terrain against a billowing cloud formation, rendered in a coloured lithographic style evoking an early medieval historical narrative. Above the vignette the motto 'IEDER NEVNTE MVSS IN DIE BVRG ZIEHRI' is inscribed in Gothic-style lettering, flanked by the place-name inscriptions 'FRASA' and 'FRASVN'. The heading 'STADT FROHSE' appears at top centre in large capitals, with '25' repeated in the corner squares and vertical side panels reading 'FÜNFUNDZWANZIG PFENNIGE'; the printer's imprint 'FABER, MAGDEBURG' appears at lower left.
