Obverse description Within a raised border, the denomination '25' appears in large stylized numerals occupying the left and lower center of the field, accompanied by the abbreviation 'P.' to its right. The legend 'DEUTSCHES REICH' is inscribed in two lines across the upper portion of the field. A decorative olive or laurel branch curves along the lower right, adding an ornamental element to the design. The mint mark 'D' for the Munich Mint appears at the base, just above the inner rim.

Reverse description The reverse features a boldly rendered profile of an eagle's head facing left, occupying the majority of the field in a striking and naturalistic sculptural style characteristic of Karl Goetz's medallic artistry. The eagle is surmounted by a large imperial crown with arched bands and decorative finials, its panels bearing heraldic devices. The date '1908' is inscribed in the exergue below the eagle's head, and the composition is contained within a plain raised border.
