| Reverse description | The reverse is executed in dark grey-green and centres on a large circular guilloche rosette from which a stylised winged caduceus-like vignette descends, with spread wings and a columnar shaft. The numeral '25' and denomination 'Pfg.' appear in large open letterpress characters above the vignette within the rosette. Arrow motifs point outward from the four corners of the frame, and a rectangular panel at the foot bears the admonition 'Nicht brechen' in bold sans-serif lettering. The printer's imprint 'J.C. König & Ebhardt in Hannover' appears in small type along the lower margin. |
