Two decorative ribbon banners flank the oval above and below, inscribed with the Low German proverb 'SPOR DI WATT / DENN HEST DU WATT' in letterpress. Elaborate floral and foliate ornaments fill the corners, and the printer's imprint 'Gebrüder Jänecke, Druck- und Verlagshaus, Hannover' appears in small type at the base.
