A central dark oval vignette bears the large white numeral '25' flanked on either side by horizontal cartouches inscribed 'PFENNIG', surmounted by ornamental acanthus scrollwork. The issuing date 'WALSRODE UND FALLINGBOSTEL, 1. JULI 1920' appears below the central device, followed by the names of the three co-issuing institutions in bold letterpress. Three manuscript signatures appear across the lower portion of the note, with the printer's imprint 'J. C. KÖNIG & EBHARDT IN HANNOVER' in small type at the foot; a vertical serial number is printed along the left margin. |
