Obverse description Cream-toned notgeld note enclosed within a fine lace-pattern guilloche border with corner rosettes. A central dark oval vignette bears the large white numeral '25' flanked on either side by horizontal cartouches inscribed 'PFENNIG', surmounted by ornamental acanthus scrollwork. The issuing date 'WALSRODE UND FALLINGBOSTEL, 1. JULI 1920' appears below the central device, followed by the names of the three co-issuing institutions in bold letterpress. Three manuscript signatures appear across the lower portion of the note, with the printer's imprint 'J. C. KÖNIG & EBHARDT IN HANNOVER' in small type at the foot; a vertical serial number is printed along the left margin.

Reverse description The reverse carries a detailed landscape vignette executed in a fine engraved style, occupying nearly the entire note surface within the same lace-pattern guilloche border as the obverse. The scene renders a rural Lüneburg Heath panorama with tall poplar trees framing a winding river valley, open meadows, a farmstead visible to the left, and a wooded horizon beneath a clouded sky. No text or denomination appears on this side, the pictorial composition serving as the sole decorative element.
