| Obverse description | The obverse is divided into two panels within a black-ruled border with a dashed outer frame. The left panel carries a silhouette-style topographic vignette of Berga (Elster), rendered in brown and black, showing a panoramic townscape with a church steeple, rooftops, and wooded hillside; the artist's signature 'F. Piroff' appears in the upper left corner of the vignette. The right panel bears the denomination '25 Pfg. 25 Pfg.' flanking an ornate civic coat of arms, below which appears the text 'Gutschein der Stadt Berga (Elster) 1.
