正面描述 Grey floral guilloche border frames the central design on a decorative underprint. At the top centre, the coloured civic arms of Wismar are displayed within an ornate scrollwork cartouche; flanking it are two oval vignettes bearing portrait busts of German Shepherd dogs — the left medallion inscribed 'Haras von der Jüch / Sieger 1921' and the right 'Nanthild von Riedekenburg / Siegerin 1921' — joined by a blue decorative rosette. Below, the denomination '25 Pfennig' appears in white Gothic lettering within a red circular device surrounded by a black ornamental frame, beneath which the legend 'Notgeldschein' is printed in large red Gothic script, followed by the issuing authority text and validity clause; the serial number appears at the foot.

备注

The Sanitätshundeverein München — the Munich Sanitary Dog Association — trained search-and-rescue dogs for battlefield and disaster use, a practice that expanded rapidly after the First World War demonstrated how effectively dogs could locate wounded men in the field. This note was issued not by a bank or municipal authority but by the Wismar chapter of that association, almost certainly as Notgeld to raise operating funds during the acute coin shortage of the early Weimar period. Private organizations, sports clubs, and charitable societies all issued small-denomination emergency paper in 1921, and the practice was entirely legal.

Printed locally by Kunstdruckerei A. Sander, Wismar — a regional commercial print house, not a specialist security printer.
