正面描述 Green and cream notgeld printed in letterpress. A central oval vignette displays a cello surrounded by a coffee cup, teapot, wine glass, and grape vine motifs, evoking the ambiance of the issuing café establishment. The denomination '25 Pfennig' appears in each corner within decorative frames, with the issuer's name 'Münster-Cafe-Diele Hameln a/W.' in bold blackletter script at centre, and a text panel at the foot giving the redemption conditions and the proprietor's name, Carl Brombach.

背面描述 Multicolour letterpress vignette in black, green, and red tones illustrating the legend of the Pied Piper of Hamelin: the colourfully clad Rattenfänger, pipe raised, leads a procession of children away from the town, with a medieval townscape visible in the background at left. A stanza of 'Das Rattenfängerlied' is printed in red gothic script within a cartouche at upper right. The denomination '25' appears in each corner, and the caption 'Der Kinderauszug anno 1284 zu Hameln' is set in blackletter along the lower border. The artist's signature 'K. Schatzler' appears at lower right of the vignette.

备注

German Notgeld issued by private commercial establishments — cafés, restaurants, inns — occupies a specific and often overlooked corner of the emergency currency field. The Münster-Cafe-Diele in Hameln issued this 25 Pfennig note during the acute small-change shortages of the early Weimar inflation period, when municipal and commercial issuers flooded circulation with locally redeemable scrip simply because metallic coinage had effectively vanished from everyday trade.

K. Schatzler's design credit is uncommon for commercial Notgeld of this type — most café-issued pieces were anonymous print-shop productions. The DeNG reference 565.1 places this within a documented series of three varieties.
