Opmerkingen

Kraftverkehrsgesellschaft m.b.H. was a motor transport company operating in and around Braunschweig — an unusual issuer for notgeld, most of which came from municipalities, savings banks, or trade guilds. That a commercial haulage and transit firm felt compelled to print its own small-denomination scrip in 1921 speaks directly to how completely the Reichsbank had lost control of small change supply during the postwar inflation spiral.

Appelhans Verlag was a local Braunschweig printer with an established reputation for quality commercial work, and F. Jüllner's design credit is notably specific — rare for notgeld of this denomination and type.
