| Obverse description | The upper portion of the note bears a central vignette in red-brown of a costumed medieval herald or jester figure standing between large ornate blue Fraktur numerals and letters forming the denomination '25 Pfg', set against elaborate blue scrollwork. The lower half carries a five-line text in Gothic script in red-brown, stating the redemption conditions and validity date, followed by a handwritten signature of Carl Günther Tresselt at right and a serial number in black at lower left. Vertical side borders in blue carry additional inscriptions in Fraktur script, and the bottom margin bears the printer's imprint. |
