| 正面描述 | Dark brown letterpress notgeld on cream paper, the central text panel enclosed within an octagonal guilloche border. The denomination '25 Pfennig.' is printed in bold Gothic blackletter script at centre, above a validity clause in smaller script stating that the voucher loses validity if not redeemed within three months of public notice. The four corners carry large decorative numeral '25' devices set against fine lace-pattern underprint panels. The issuing authority text reads 'zahlt die Handelskammer zu Hannover den Betrag von', dated 'Hannover, den 1. Juli 1921', with three facsimile signatures of Handelskammer officials below the legend 'Die Handelskammer'. A red serial number prefixed 'K' appears in the upper centre. |

| 背面描述 | The reverse is dominated by a central colour vignette of the Marktkirche (Market Church) in Hannover, rendered in a detailed engraved street-scene style with figures in the foreground and the church's Gothic spires rising above surrounding buildings; the caption 'Markt Kirche' appears above the vignette. Flanking the central scene on both sides are wide dark brown panels carrying large octagonal '25' denomination devices set within ornate scrollwork and foliate guilloche decoration matching the obverse style. The printer's imprint 'J. C. König & Ebhardt in Hannover' appears in small capitals along the lower margin. |

| 备注 |
Hannover's Chamber of Commerce issued this note during the Weimar inflation emergency of 1921, when small-denomination coinage had effectively vanished from circulation and municipalities, guilds, and trade bodies across Germany were printing their own Notgeld to fill the gap. The Chamber's authority to issue scrip derived from its quasi-official standing, not from the Reichsbank.
König & Ebhardt, the Hanover printer responsible for this note, was primarily a commercial bookbinder and stationer — a telling reminder of how undiscriminating the Notgeld boom was about its producers. The Gra#572.2 distinction between the two varieties hinges on the spelling variant on the obverse face.
