| Obverse description | Green note printed in dark green on a light green ground, with a bold Gothic-script heading 'NOTGELD GREIZ' across the top panel. The central vignette consists of a shield-shaped cartouche carrying the large white numeral '25', flanked on either side by the abbreviated denomination 'Pfg.' in ornate blackletter type. Below, the issuer's name 'BANK FÜR HANDEL UND INDUSTRIE' appears at lower left with 'NIEDERLASSUNG GREIZ' at lower right, the date 'GREIZ, den 1.
