Obverse description A hand-coloured vignette occupies the upper portion of the note, presenting a panoramic townscape of Schönberg set along a waterway, with half-timbered houses and a domed church tower rising above the treeline. Below the vignette, the denomination numeral '25' appears in large script within two dark corner blocks at lower left and right. The central lower area carries the town inscription in Gothic script, and the four borders are filled with Low German verse text printed sideways and inverted to frame the entire design.
Obverse lettering Wenn se ok zackerieren, dat so ganz

Reverse description The reverse is text-only within a single ruled border on a lightly patterned paper ground, bearing a five-line verse in Low German dialect printed in a flowing script typeface over a screened underprint vignette. Below the verse appear the issuing authority line and two facsimile signatures, followed by the validity date line and the printer's credit at the foot.
