| Reverse description | The reverse is printed entirely in blue and centres on a large ornate vignette of the Straubing civic coat of arms — a quartered shield incorporating the Bavarian lozenges — surmounted by a decorative finial and flanked symmetrically by elaborate guilloche foliage scrolls. The whole composition is enclosed within a multi-rule guilloche border with rosette corner ornaments set against a wavy-line underprint ground. The printer's imprint appears in a small cartouche at the bottom centre below the frame. |
