The word 'Gutschein' is rendered in large decorative black and gold Fraktur script across the upper portion, with stylised pine branch vignettes in the upper corners. A central guilloche-bordered circular medallion carries the denomination numeral '25' in blue. To the left, a validity clause in Gothic script states the note expires three months after public announcement; to the right, the issuing authority 'Ballenstedt im Harz' and date '28.
