Below the central vignette, a text panel contains a four-line stanza from August Heinrich Hoffmann von Fallersleben's Deutschlandlied, with validity and issuance dates inscribed at upper left and upper right respectively, accompanied by the facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister. |
