Obverse description Cream-toned notgeld printed in black with a bold red horizontal band across the upper third carrying the denomination in Gothic blackletter script: 'Fünfundzwanzig Pfennig'. The denomination '25 Pf.' appears in large numerals at the upper left and right corners, flanking the word 'Gutschein' with 'über' below it. The body of the note bears letterpress text naming the Handelskammer Hirschberg and the six guaranteeing municipalities, with the validity date 'Gültig bis 1. April 1919' printed vertically along both lateral margins; below, six pairs of handwritten manuscript signatures attest to the obligations of each participating Magistrat.

Reverse description The reverse is printed in olive-green on cream paper and carries a central landscape vignette of the Riesengebirge mountain range rendered in a light-toned engraved style, with coniferous forest in the foreground and rolling peaks receding into the distance. A decorative black border frames the design, with stylised laurel-leaf columns at the sides and circular medallions at each corner bearing the numeral '25' in white on black. The denomination 'Pfennig' is lettered in bold Gothic blackletter across both the upper and lower horizontal border bands.
