正面描述 The obverse is framed by an elaborate green Art Nouveau border with scrollwork and foliate ornaments. At centre top, an oval vignette presents a portrait bust of a historical figure wearing a tricorn hat, rendered in brown and black letterpress. Flanking the portrait are two text panels in Gothic script noting the redemption conditions, with the denomination spelled out in large blackletter type as 'Fünfundzwanzig Pfennig' across the lower half, accompanied by a serial number at lower left and the issuing authority 'Der Magistrat' with a manuscript signature 'Poppe' at upper right.

备注

Rheinsberg notgeld from this period was heavily themed around Frederick the Great, who lived at Schloss Rheinsberg as a crown prince in the 1730s before his accession — a biographical detail the town has never stopped trading on. Oehmigke & Riemschneider in Neuruppin were prolific producers of Brandenburg-region notgeld during the 1920–1921 inflation surge, and their output for small municipalities like Rheinsberg tends toward local historicism rather than abstract design.

The single signatory, Poppe, was almost certainly the sitting Bürgermeister authorizing emergency currency under the notgeld provisions then in effect across Weimar Germany.
