| 表面の説明 | Tan and green Notgeld note with a decorative woodgrain-style underprint covering the entire field. At centre, an octagonal vignette on a green guilloche ground presents the city arms of Zörbig — a vertically divided shield in blue and white — supported by a winged angelic figure with outstretched wings. Denomination panels reading '25 PFENNIG' in bold black type are set at lower left and lower right within red-bordered cartouches. The heading 'Notgeld der Stadt' is rendered in large green Gothic (Fraktur) script across the top, with 'Zörbig' and 'der Magistrat' in cursive script at the foot alongside a manuscript signature. |

Zörbig is a small town in Saxony-Anhalt, and like hundreds of similarly sized German municipalities in 1921, it was forced to issue its own emergency fractional currency — Kleingeldschein — because the Reichsbank simply could not keep low-denomination coin in circulation fast enough to meet postwar demand. The split production credit between Kunstanstalt H. F. Jütte in Leipzig and H. Schiebel in Bitterfeld is unusual; Jütte handled the artistic printing work while Schiebel, a local Bitterfeld firm, likely managed finishing or overprinting.
Jütte was a prolific supplier to municipal Notgeld issuers across central Germany during this period and brought genuine craft press standards to what was, functionally, disposable scrip.
