Obverse description On a buff-toned paper ground with horizontal line underprint, the central vignette presents the polychrome municipal coat of arms of Hann. Münden — a red shield bearing a crenellated castle gateway above a rampant lion, surmounted by a mural crown — flanked symmetrically on left and right by large blue numerals '25' above stylised ribbon ornaments. A triple-rule rectangular border with rosette corner devices frames the entire composition, and the town name 'HANN. MÜNDEN' is lettered in bold sans-serif type below the arms.

Reverse description A bird's-eye panoramic view of the town of Münden as it appeared circa 1622 fills the central field, rendered in a cartographic engraving style with red-tiled rooftops, church spires, and the confluence of the Werra and Fulda rivers flowing into the Weser visible in the foreground and right margin. Upper left bears a wreath-encircled vignette of the city arms with a rampant lion, while upper right contains a blue circular medallion with the red denomination numeral '25'. The inscription 'Münden um 1622' is set in Gothic script at the top centre, and the printer's imprint 'DRUCK: SCHWARZ, LINDENBERG.' appears in the lower margin.
