| Descrizione del dritto | Orange and black Notgeld note executed in a bold illustrative style, with a central vignette of two silhouetted male figures flanking the large denomination numeral '25' above 'Pfennig' — the left figure carrying a tool over his shoulder, the right wielding a hammer — set against radiating flames and an industrial underprint with a gear wheel at the lower centre. A Gothic-script political motto runs across the upper margin, while the lower portion carries validity text at left and the issuing authority 'Rat der Stadt Lübz' at right, accompanied by two manuscript signatures. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Dark green and orange Notgeld note composed within a geometric Art Nouveau framework of intersecting diamond lozenges with orange accent bars at the cardinal points. A central oval vignette presents an etched view of a medieval tower and associated buildings in a landscape, surmounted by a curved scroll banner in Gothic lettering reading 'Reutergeld der Stadt', with a cartouche inscribed 'Lübz i/M.' immediately below. Denomination numerals '25 Pfg.' appear in ornamental script at the lower left and lower right corners, and the designer's name is inscribed in the upper left corner. |

Lübz is a small town in Mecklenburg, and this 25 Pfennig Notgeld note is one of hundreds of hyper-local emergency issues that flooded German circulation between 1917 and 1922 as the central government failed to keep small denomination coinage in circulation. What distinguishes many Lübz issues is the involvement of Richard Zscheked, a regional artist whose work for Mecklenburg Notgeld commissions gave several otherwise forgettable municipal notes a level of graphic ambition unusual for town-issued paper of this scale.
Zscheked's name appearing on a piece typically signals collector interest beyond face value — his commissions were sometimes treated as limited artistic prints from the outset.
