| Description de l’avers | Printed by letterpress in black on pale blue watermarked paper, the note is framed by a decorative wave-pattern border and headed by the legend 'Gutschein der Stadt Heiligenhafen'; the municipal arms of Heiligenhafen — a heraldic shield charged with stepped gabled buildings above water with two flanking flags — occupy the centre, with the large numeral '25' appearing on either side above 'PFENNIG'. The lower portion carries two text panels stating the redemption conditions at the Stadtkasse until 31 December 1923 and the note's restriction to the Stadtbezirk Heiligenhafen, together with a facsimile magistrate's signature and the printer's imprint. |
