Obverse description The obverse is printed in brown on cream paper with the denomination numeral '25' repeated in each corner and along the vertical margins. A central vignette consists of a six-pointed star overlapping a rectangular cartouche bearing a Low German verse in Gothic script ('Recht, Gründing, mör as Recht bestahn, Un füll de Welt in Stücken gahn!'). A circular legend runs around the outer border, and the issuing authority 'DER RAT:' appears at the lower left, followed by a manuscript signature.

Reverse description The reverse carries a bold woodcut-style vignette in brown on cream paper, presenting a snow-covered townscape of Rehna with a prominent church tower and clustered rooftops rendered in an expressive, graphic idiom. The denomination '25 PFENNIG 25' is inscribed in decorative lettering across the top of the note. At the base, in bold letterpress, the inscription 'REUTERGELD REHNA' identifies this note as part of the Fritz Reuter commemorative Notgeld series.
