Obverse description The obverse of this Notgeld issue is printed in black, yellow, and red on a cream-toned paper with a hatched border frame. The upper portion carries the town name 'Fürstenberg in Meckl.' in large blackletter script beneath the heading 'Gutschein des Luftkurorts', while a broad black horizontal band across the centre bears the denomination numeral '25' within a circular guilloche vignette flanked by the spelled-out value 'FÜNF UND ZWANZIG' to the left and 'PFENIG' to the right in bold yellow letterpress. The lower section is divided into three panels: a red ribbon cartouche to the left with the place and date 'Fürstenberg, den 1. August 1921', a central shield displaying the municipal coat of arms of Fürstenberg, and a right panel inscribed 'Der Rat:' above two manuscript facsimile signatures.

Reverse description The reverse is printed in blue-grey and ochre tones with a geometric border of repeated diamond motifs. A banner cartouche at the top centre carries the place name 'Fürstenberg i. Meckl.' in blackletter script with the promotional text 'berühmt durch die mecklenb. Küche seiner 18 guten Gasthöfe' beneath it, while the denomination '25 Pf' appears in large blue numerals within dark corner panels at upper left and right. The central vignette presents a detailed pen-and-ink landscape view of the town's spa park, with large ancient oak trees dominating a lakeside promenade with figures strolling along a path; a caption at the foot of the note reads 'Der sehenswerte Kurpark, malerisch am See gelegen'.
