| Reverse description | The reverse is printed in the same black, green, and red colour scheme, with identical Art Deco side borders carrying diamond lattice vignettes and the denomination '25' at left and right. The central vignette, executed in an Expressionist woodcut style, illustrates a dramatic interior scene from the local legend of Burg Vondern: two cloaked figures flank a blazing fireplace with a suspended cauldron, rendered in bold contrasting silhouettes of black, white, and red. The printer's imprint appears in small text at the lower right margin outside the border. |
