Obverse description The obverse carries a detailed letterpress vignette of the Wriezen harbour scene, with a bascule bridge, a moored river vessel, and the town's skyline with church spires receding into the distance; sailing boats are visible on the calm water to the right. Above the vignette, two lines of verse in Gothic script read "Hafen ist Glück, Hafen ist Frieden, O Heimatstadt, o Deutschland! Wann sind sie Dir beschieden?" followed by the validity notice dated Wriezen, 1. Oktober 1921, countersigned by Der Magistrat with the manuscript signature of Haase. The denomination "Fünfundzwanzig Pfennig" is set in large ornate Gothic lettering across the lower portion, the whole enclosed within a decorative scrollwork border.
Obverse lettering Hafen ist Glück, Hafen ist Frieden,
O Heimatstadt, o Deutschland! Wann sind sie Dir beschieden?
Dieser Gutschein hat Gültigkeit bis zum 30. September 1922.
Wriezen, den 1. Oktober 1921
Der Magistrat
Fünfundzwanzig Pfennig.
Reverse description The reverse presents a central allegorical vignette of three winged angels arranged symmetrically around a heraldic shield bearing the Wriezen municipal eagle, rendered in a detailed woodcut-like style on a warm ochre-toned ground. The inscription "Gutschein der Stadtgemeinde" arcs in Gothic script across the upper field, while "Wriezen" appears in large Gothic lettering below the vignette. The denomination "25 Pf" is repeated in each of the four corners, and the printer's imprint "Druck von Adolf Forker, Leipzig." runs along the lower margin.
