| 裏面の説明 | The reverse is printed in black and gray on white paper, with a large diagonal gray underprint of the numeral '25' spanning the entire field. A vignetted panoramic scene of the Neurode coal-mining industrial landscape — with smoking chimneys, pithead winding towers, workers, and mine buildings rendered in an expressive pen-and-ink style — fills the central panel. A bold motto is set in letterpress above and below the vignette, with the designer's monogram 'HAL' below the lower inscription and the printer's imprint 'KLAMBT, NEURODE' along the right margin. |

Neurode was a mid-sized industrial town in the Glatz valley, built largely on coal extraction, and its Kreisausschuss — the district administrative committee — issued this Notgeld during the prolonged post-war small-change famine that left German municipalities printing their own fractional currency well into 1921. The Klambt firm was a local press, keeping both the contract and the paper money emphatically regional in character.
The designer credit "HAL" remains unresolved in the Notgeld literature — an initial monogram with no firmly attributed name behind it.
